I will be flying DUB-FRA-VIE with Lufthansa.

Does anyone who has previously connected from a flight from Dublin (Pier B) to a flight to a Schengen country (Pier A) at Frankfurt Airport know if you have to pass through security again or is it just passport control? What about on the return flight (Pier A to B / Schengen to non-Schengen)?

And do LH have those free coffee and newspaper stands in Frankfurt like they do in Munich Airport?

    Thank you.

AFAIK, Lufthansa Pier B Non Schengen - Schengen, you don't need to clear security again.

I'm pretty sure that in one direction there was no security check the last time I made such a connection - I think it was Schengen to non-Schengen.
