    For a quote i'm being asked -
How many years have you been driving in the UK or the Republic of Ireland?

I'm driving for the last 13 years, but I allowed my insurance to expire and my no claims to age off. Got back on the road 2 years ago, just wanted to make sure I should answer 2 for this question? Thanks

Only people that can answer that is the insurance company themselves. Every company is different.

Ok, thanks, it's hard to know what to put cause I don't know what way they interpret it.

That question has nothing to do with NCB. It refers to how many years you have been driving.
But yeah, ring the company if you have questions. They will know best.

The question should be answered on the basis of when you first were insured to drive in Ireland or the UK.

In your case it seems that was 13 years ago so you answer 10+.

    Nope.

Since iirc 2012, its illegal for insurance companies to charge men more for their insurance provided all other details are the same - licence type, bonus, occupation etc.

Isn't that the company based in NI which is a complete disaster to deal with?
