I have a commute to work of 60-70 mins each way, usually 5 days a week. Currently spend that time listening to Ivan Yates in the morning and Matt Cooper in the evening. I enjoy current affairs but think maybe I should be doing something more productive with my time, like learning a language.

I'm considering German as I have a basic grasp of it from school (though maybe I'd be better clean starting with Spanish or something?)

Has anyone here learned a language by audio this way? Would love to hear people's experience and advice.

It's not gonna be very effective on its own but it would be handy as a supplement to any other study you do, especially if you already have a grasp on the language.
