Wanted: Garmin Edge 705 body or screen

    My Garmin Edge 705 had a rush of blood to the head yesterday, ably assisted by an uncharacteristically flaky Bar Fly mount, and decided to take on the tarmac. The tarmac won.

    So I find myself in need of a new outer protective "screen" (not the LCD screen itself) for it. But from what I can gather that's not available as a spare part but the entire body/casing might be.

    If anyone has the entire casing available, or just the upper half of the casing, or even just the screen inset into the casing, I'd be very interested.

    I have a 705 which is gathering dust in a drawer.
    Went for a hop last year and no longer acquires satellites but will be fine to cannibalise.

    I have one but the screen has one crack across the bottom. You are welcome to it if that suits

    Thanks for the offer RobFowl, I've PM'ed timbel so I'll see how that works out and I'll let you know.

    ...this is the thread where aged and decrepit Edge 705's go to retire :)
