Trying to find a replacement part for push button sink plug (see pic). The white part (click-clack) is sticking and am unable to find a replacement. Tried three different places in Dublin, was advised it would hard to find the part and may have to replace the whole drain assy. Anybody ever seen this part? Thanks.

Buy a new click clack. These are so cheap I can't imagine it's possible to buy parts. I've never repaired one. I'd always replace

Removing the pedestal and an inaccessible trap etc sounds like a bit more work. Why have the parts removable if you cant just get spares? My search continues ;)

Any plumbers suppliers or DIY store should have them. Picked up one in B&Q yesterday for €8. Common enough for the mech to fail over time. Hard water obviously not helping the units operation.

I got the whole unit about two weeks ago in DPL for €7.50. Screw off the click clack unit the pkiernan showed above and replace your broken one. Now I have other spare parts (ie a unit without the click-clack).
