'New' laptop with programmes already installed??

Bought a new laptop from Harvey Norman today.When i turned it on there were a number of desktop icons for programmes already installed i.e ebay, booking.com, skype etc. I checked and they were installed in July 2015. Is this normal or should i be concerned??

Manufactures do pre-install a lot of crap, so doesn't sound too unusual
You could manually uninstall and delete or try something like
https://www.pcdecrapifier.com

If it's a lenovo you might want to look at removing a few pieces of malware
