Dying to get one of these if I can find one at a price point that works for me and after doing a fair bit of diffing around on Chrono24/Ebay etc i have come up with the following as a strong possibility.

I don't like bracelets myself and would put it on a Nato so the absence of a Bracelet doesn't bother me. That it comes with box, papers and a warranty makes it look like an attractive package i think - Can I ask for the thoughts of some of the more experienced forums members?

The original bracelet for this era Speedy is actually quite nice & suits it well. Having said that, I do think it looks best on a fat black leather strap.

I sold one recently for 1300 on bracelet with a service.

Join tz. Post. Bide you time. And you will pick one up for 1100 -1400 depending on condition/papers.

That one seems expensive given no service history or bracelet. You might not want the bracelet but when you sell it the next guy might!

It's reserved, have you made an offer on it OP?

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Yes, he wants €1500 and shipping + Chrono fees make it €1,600 all in. Compared to prices I had seen on eBay and Chrono24 I thought it was relatively good value but wanted 2ndopinion before deciding to accept or not.

I have only bought once on chrono 24, I haggled, is this acceptable?

On the basis that it's a marketplace rather than a dating website, I'd say it's your duty.

Can I ask if it was on TZ you sold your one? I would be very happy with 1300 with a service. Fair point on the strap too I guess as I actually want to put mine on a leather NATO anyway.

I felt the price above compared very favorably against similar on Chrono24 and Ebay but given the hoops you have to jump through to view the sales corner on TZ there might be better value had there.

I'll take your advice and hold tough for now - thanks!

Every time I see "reduced" I immediately think someone has slashed the price rather than it just being the smaller version for sale :|

I labored under that belief for quite some time myself.

Was delighted when i realised what it actually meant though as i don't really like watches any bigger than 38/39mm and i really really like the Speedmaster and Breitling Navitimer. the fact that there are smaller versions of them available and that those are cheaper too really works for me in terms of style and budget!
