Virgin Media Thomson TC700 Port Forwarding Not Working

Anyone with the Thomson VM modem having issues in the past few days with port forwarding being broken? I've been noticing an issue for the last week or so with not being able to access services on my home network. When I went into the router configuration it looked like the software may have updated recently. I'm pretty sure before I'd setup Google's IPv4 DNS as my DNS entries yt now the router appears to be running on IPv6. Forwarding rules were still in place and looked OK. First I blitzed the rules and set them up again without success. Next I did a factory reset on the router and also unplugged it. Once it came back I setup my rules again without success this time also.

It doesn't look like the router does UPnP either which was one way in the past that I'd used to get around issues like this.

Has anyone else out there had similar issues in the past few weeks? It honestly looks like a potential update has broken port forwarding functionality. It's very annoying really.

Ring them up and ask them to give you a IPV4 address and take you off DS-lite.

Unfortunately there is no guarantee that even if you are reverted to IPv4 that this will not happen again at the whim of VM today, tomorrow.......

And also ringng VM in connection with DS-Lite issues is very much a lottery:( Some customers have been referred to their premium support number!
