The Meyle HD range is very expensive to buy off the Irish distributor. To be honest, Micksgarage and the likes usually have very reasonable markups on their products. Maybe it's the wholesalers causing the issues, not sure.

I had febi bilstein drop links fitted previously to my caddy and they lasted about 2 months and from reading reviews on various forums of febi bilstein parts is that they are rubbish in comparison to other manufacturers...

Prices are higher alright and are exacerbated the more expensive the kit is.

There's also a price for convenience; I ordered two Meyle lower control arms from Amazon UK (a seller up North), €70 each I think including delivery.
5 days later, still no sign. Got on to them, they said they'd check it out. Few days later, still nothing. Was getting angry at this stage and started ringing the company directly.
Giving me the run around non-stop, over two weeks had passed so just went through Amazon and got a refund.

Walked in to Car L Parts in Dundalk at 11am, they ordered them for €90 a piece, arrived the same afternoon.

Yeah a small price increase for convenience is tolerable but not the price increases im seeing. I would be wary of ordering from abroad myself but a bit of due diligence on the sellers and you should be ok...

Yep with an extensive kit like that, i'd be ordering abroad too.

I find the big German ebayers much better than UK on shipping costs.
