How much alcohol involved? We stayed in Rathellen house with a hen which involved fairly low levels of drink just a few glasses of wine as opposed to other hens I've been on. It was amazing and I would highly recommend it, the owners are lovely and the place is fabulous!

Tranquility house in carlingford could be worth looking at, not sure if there in a minimum number of nights though.

To be honest not a huge amount they're not big drinkers . it's a night for family to (sisters and nieces) to have a night were we can all stay together. We would prefer somewhere that we had to ourselves though
Just seen that's in Sligo so no go for us .Need within about hour of Dublin .
    Thanks

    No it's Tipperary http://rathellenhouse.com

We didn't want to be too far from Dublin either. If it's a family group it's a good house, beautiful sitting room with space for everyone, big kitchen and dinning rolm

Check out Wexford Beach Homes...had my hen there last September, and they are fabulous. They can cater food for you, if you want. We stayed two nights last September and they provided the food on the first night. Could not recommend them highly enough.

You wouldn't all be able to sleep in one house, you'd probably need 2 houses for 15 people, but the houses are right beside one another. It worked out well for us as we were able to put the older people into one house and they were able to head off to bed when ever they wished and were totally undisturbed by the rest of us.

This only hosts 12 so might be a bit small. But it's lovely. Pub beside is gorgeous.

Try Loughcrew House, they're based in North Meath near Oldcastle. I recommended them for someone else looking for a wedding venue but when I viewed it they told me they do hens aswell. It's a lovely self catering house and is right beside an activity centre if you wanted to do any outdoorsy things

My wife had her hen in The Stables in Longford - it turned up on Room to Improve the other night - she thought it was great.

Not sure what they do in terms of minimum stay, worth a look though. Not too far from Dublin.

Stayed in a house in Kilkenny before but can't remember the name of it!!! I think from the pictures that this is it and it was lovely for the night, dunno about a minimum stay though...
