    Firstly good bargain alert :D

Secondly I am afraid I have to ask it but what does it actually taste like, does it taste the very very same or a touch watered down or an after taste or what? :pac: I've had Corona Light in the past and wasn't too impressed.

It would allow me to have 3 pints over an evening and be under the legal drink drive limit - however different people will have different results. - Using a breathalyser I have had 4 pints of Guinness mid strength (2.8%) over 2 hours and given a reading of 0.18 - a bit close to the limit of .22 for breath, but meant that 3 pints of mid strength meant no issue with driving if I had to.

How much was your breathalyser ?

I'd worry more about the accuracy than the price

Anyone getting told no participating outlets nearby when claiming? It finds two when I check the list but none when I'm actually claiming.

wasn't mine - lets just say it was an unofficial official test :) Was told the result was too close for comfort as other things affect metabolism, but 3 pints of mid strength would see me well under the limit.

on average your body processes 1 unit of alcohol every hour. A pint @ 4.8% has 2 units.

If you had 3 pints in an hour would you be over the limit?

Normal Heineken 5% in rest of Europe. 4.3% here. Might make more sense with a 2% drop but 1.3%?Can't see demand for 3% Heineken last long-term myself. It might be a novelty for some for a while.

    It is a significant drop.

They reckon 1 typical pint gets processed per hour, so say 1 pint of 4.3% has zero effect. If you drink 2 pints per hour that means really only 1 at 4.3% is taking effect. If you have 2x3% pints, then that is like 1x4.3% which "goes to waste" and the second is like 1x1.7%.

So its more like 4.3% vs 1.7% if drinking like that and if you process it that way.

It is meant to be the same price as heineken, and so far cheaper than most pubs sell soft drinks at. A pint of coke requires just under 3 bottles, which is about 8.50 in my local.
