Hi all, Do you know any smart plumber with equipment, who can help to unblock toilet D24. The problem... that manhole is under the decking. Could any careful plumber open my decking / manhole and help with toilet unblocking. Thank you in advance.

If you get someone like the drain doctor or dyno rod they will have a better chance than a regular plumber with a set of rods.

Dyno rod should be able to do the job from another manhole. Dyno rod use a high pressure hose rather than rods. The hose can be fed from the next manhole on the line. Probably in your neighbours garden

If the decking needs to come up or a hole cut in it you are better getting a chippy out to put in an access hatch in the decking. Done properly this would be almost invisible afterwards and the hatch would be there for future use. There are 7 houses on our sewerage line and they need to be cleaned every 1 to 3 years

Edit. I wouldn't have or pay any tradesman showing up on my property drunk. If he was genuinely drunk you should report him to . He shouldn't be driving the truck let alone working on your property

Dyno Rod are probably the longest established Drain Cleaning company in Dublin, operating almost 40 years. They clear blockages in drains using high pressure water jetting systems which is far superior to rods, but the equipment is expensive. They do not usually carry tools or equipment for making openings in wooden decking, this is your responsibility not theirs.
If the decking is covering the manhole cover, how did you expect him to get the cover open to do his job? Did you tell them on the phone before they came out the the manhole cover was inaccessible due to the decking?
Other than that, if you have a problem with their operative you should have contacted their office and spoken with them about it.

And why you need to be careful about making defamatory and libellous statements about named companies on a public forum.

The starting point is that the manhole should not be in-accessible

    Vatili,
After 2 posts on a public forum you accuse a operator of been drunk on duty.

This is a public forum and you can be traced by your email and ipn address.

    Think again before posting.
    Up to now.
