Snotty cattle

    Hi all. Animals are out about 6 weeks now and I see some have a snotty nose. Most are thriving but a couple are bit as much. Not putting on much codition and bit hairy yet. Any suggestions pls?

    Are they vaccinated for ibr

    No. Should I vaccinate ow or do blood tests to see if they have it

    Blood test and if positive use ibr marker live. Do not use live vaccine unless you blood test first or you'll end up giving your herd ibr

    I have some snoty cattle too
    They don't even talk to me some don't even listen to me.
    Yours might have pneumonia or could be a range of things.
    Might be better give a vet a ring to be on the safe side.
