Cup holder recommendation

    Hi guys,

Maybe someone can help me here. I have one cup holder in the front of my car and its starting to get annoying as anytime I have someone in the car with me one person has to hold onto their drink, travel cups etc which inevitably gets spilled at some stage and destroying my seats/carpet and me spending a stupid amount of time cleaning up afterwards.

Has anyone got a recommendation for a decent cup holder that the have bough that I can fit to the vents/dash or windscreen that I can buy.

Must be fairly sturdy and able to hold standard stuff like a travel mug or bottle of water.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks.

If you tell us what car this is for maybe someone with that model can recommend better.

Perfect. There's two more in the middle of the back seat, not the arm rest now, the actual arse part. Missus uses them for her coffee on long drives.

Same problem with my car. 320d msport...no cup holders whatsoever! Cup gets jammed into the coin tray but it's a disaster when there's a passenger.

Similar query to op and looking for good alternative. We have a Renault Megane which has 1 unusable cupholder. Ideally need to add 2 somehow

You can get the cup holder from the dealer, it's an OEM BMW part. It was standard on American cars but BMW decided that Europeans prefer driving to drinking coffee!
I retrofitted mine years ago, wouldn't be without it. I remember paying about €45 from prentice BMW in omagh about 6 or 7 years ago

Parts 5 and 8 replace part 2 in the centre console

€45 wouldn't be mental. I was going off eBay prices for the two piece coin holder/cup combo and it was almost €100 by the time postage was covered. No thanks!
