A teachers union is calling for unisex toilets to be standard in all primary schools. I see nothing wrong with that myself, when you think about it, its better than a line of boys getting their private part out in front of each other and Pissing into a smelly trough urinal

The design standard for new national school classrooms has en-suites in each room. So many of them are "unisex" already.

I predict that, in the future, this whole sticky-wicket of stand up/sit down/hover/nest-building/laminar-flowed piss from across the room will be side-stepped by issuing each pupil with a self-contained eco-suit with integrated WC facilities much like a NASA space-suit. As well as keeping all the various and assorted gearboxes happy, this will be enormously efficient in terms of time and building-space.

Will there be a button that closes the helmet so we don't have to listen to them?

Hell yeah. In fact, they won't open at all - self-contained, remember?

I don't like this idea. The best thing about being a male is using the toilets and there barely ever being a queue. If we make them unisex, then that means I'll likely have to queue.

Have I wandered into the toilet forum by accident?

There was no sign on the door. . . .

It kind of makes me think fondly back to the time before the cold war ended, there was actually stuff to worry about back then

A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul. - Colette Colfer

The seventh secret of Fatima that the pope is sitting on is that poo marks left in the bowl will herald the coming of the anti-christ.

My primary school just had 2 non-designated toilets in each class, no male/female toilets.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

I don't think it's fair that kids should be forced to go to a bathroom attached to the classroom. First off, you're gonna fart at some point and everyone will hear it and you'll be bullied over it. Second of all, you're gonna poo some time, and eventually it's gonna be a stinker, and you're gonna be bullied over it. Thirdly, going for a quiet wander about the school when you had permission to go to the bathroom was a laugh, and is guaranteed in the Irish Constitution for every smallie..

Earlier it was a thread about some twit complaining that the toilets on a ferry were labelled 'ladies' and 'gents'...now it's unisex toilets in primary schools.

Every fcuking day there is an issue with toilets, gender neutral this, trans that, ...for fcuks sake can people not just go to a fcuking toilet and do their business without making a big song and fcuking dance about it?

It's starting to look like this transgender business is the new special-snowflake allergic-to-everything for today's Munchausen Moms! :pac:

Don't label me, you fascist! My plumbing is special, just like me and you'd better by cracky respect it and pay attention to it, or there'll be trouble!!

In my school it was just self contained toilets, no specific gender, nobody died or got molested. It isn't a new thing.

I don't know if you've seen whats going on in North Carolina in the US at the moment but the precise issue is that people are just trying to go to the toilet and a big song and dance is being made of it by anti trans movements.

I went to primary school with unisex toilets. I didn't even realise schools had partitioned toilets until I moved on to secondary. Kids don't care, they just want to wee/poo.

I just looked at the North Carolina story. It seems the law states that you have to use whatever toilet corresponds to your sex at birth and not what you consider your gender to be at any given moment in time.
Seems like this toilet issue is an epidemic.

I guarantee all these 'keep the boys out of the girls jacks' folk shared a family bathroom with both sexes. In a family home, among the people most likely to molest them.
