    Hi All

The key fob in our Mazda doesn't seem to work properly for some reason.

In the mornings it won't open the car .... strange thing then it is OK for the rest of the day

Anyone guess what could be wrong.

    Thanks

    Barr :)

Is there a little light that comes on?
Are you always standing next to car when you activate it?

Try changing battery anyway, it's my first port of call with fobs.

Mine was acting similar just before the battery died. Has is been acting like this for long?

I'll second changing the battery, it only takes 2 mins of work.

Thanks guys , there is no light coming on the fob(not sure if there was ever one)

In the mornings I am standing beside the door pointing at the lock and it still doesn't budge.

Where is the best place to pick up a battery for a fob ?

Would I have to go to an auto factor.

Just look up the type of key you have and if you're not in a hurry, get it online. I went with Amazon

    Either factor or Halfords.
They will probably open it and change it for you if they have time.

They will also recycle the old battery for you.

Happy days ... fingers crossed it is only the battery.

I'll call into Halfords tomorrow to see if they will do it for me :)
