Biocycle

    Hi All,

About three months ago I got the biocycle desludged as there was a smell coming from it.

The guy who did it says it probably went septic or something along those lines.

Emptied it and put back in "the good bacteria"

So 3 months later and theres a bad scum smell coming from it, travels all the way into the house (Very bad this morning)

Had a look it and could see the second two chambers from the top.

The second one had grey water in it and airating away.

The third chamber (going out into the soak away) has a layer of scum / muck on the top of it.

I'm guessing the third chamber should be practically water?

Anyway called the guys again and they're going to come out.

I'm just trying to figure out what happened.

A guy told me that they maybe shouldn't have put that water back in as it had gone septic and is just continuing the problem.

    Any ideas?

what was the story with it?

Our pretreatment tank smells. It was desludged a few months ago and the pump was replaced. I also unblocked the drain closer to the house.

We try and reduce the bleach use in the house, have some stuff to pour in every so often. It comes and goes but in general isn't great.
