They seem like a cheap option to buy UK shares on the LSE. They are 5.95 pounds a trade. Do you accept investors with addresses in the republic of Ireland?

They didn't accept Ireland-based investors when I last checked. Why don't you ask them and let us know. :p

Yeah. I got the response that they don't accept investors from R.O.I..

So the question is - is there an equivalent of them in the republic? I notice that many irish companies are listed on the LSE as well as the Irish one.

If you place an order for initial purchase through an Irish Broker, some (not all) UK registrars (once you register) will allow you to access available shareholder services (including buy/sell shares at quite low rates.

Typically services are available to investors with a UK Debit card. Some Registrars will accept requests from overseas shareholders but only after funds have been transferred in advance before a trade (buy transaction) can be executed. Credit cards are AFAIK never accepted.
