UP 16 Form Part 3

    Why the heck on Part 3 of the UP 16 form it has the week from Monday to Sunday while the Declaration of Unemployment form has week from Wednesday to Tuesday?

    I worked part time for a few weeks and the hours each day I worked were different.

    This farce of a system of not that having the forms in sync will likely slow up my payment.

    UP16 is to assess your means from employment. It doesnt matter what week is on it... with casual employment its broken down into daily means. The sooner you can send the form back the sooner means can be assessed and casual is paid a week in arrears.

    I worked for three weeks as an invigilator at the college exams. Since each day was different, I wait for my three weeks to be up before sending in my casual employment dockets to the Social Welfare Office.


    The company 'Unijobs' will pay me on June 17th. The problem is that they won't fill out part 3 of the UP 16 form until after that date.


    I have handed in all other forms to the Social Welfare Officer this week.
