Never any 'year it was made' on movie info on saorview channels, Why?

    I meant to ask this long ago, but why is the year a film is made not included when you press the information button on any saorview channel
    I don't have sky but I recall the same is the case there

    I presume because its across rte and non rte Irish channels that this information normal everywhere else is not provided that its the EPG creator thats at fault?

    But it must be something more than that because the information is missing on all platforms (for years,since the begining) and as UTV and TV3 have it missing aswell then that suggests the same system company or person is an independent source for the programme info who have decided to leave it out

    Anyone know?
