I find a feed of pints between the rounds to be most relaxing :D

    On a more serious note.....

    .....good night's sleep beforehand

....plenty of (healthy-ish) snacks, nibbles and drinks for the rounds

....eat a sensible lunch between the rounds

....if you haven't played the course talk to a few that have

...get there in plenty of time for team talk, prep etc

    ....relax & enjoy!

the feed of pints sounds like a great idea

its quite a hilly course and i usually carry my bag. i would be afraid that 36 holes of that might be too much. Would a push cart be much help?

Your A game would be a good start😉

On a serious note, don't overthink it, prepare as you would normally, maybe two pairs of everything in case of a soaking, otherwise stick to your routine. Best of luck, AA.

Never thought of the 2 pairs of everything! Thats a good idea although the forecast looks decent at the moment!

My A game never turns up!

    I'd say yes.

Lugging your bag over 36 flat holes would be fatiguing enough - you'll be quite tired coming into the final 6, imo.

If you want to lug it, then take everything out bar the bare essentials - a push or even a borrowed electric cart would be better.

A couple of weeks ago I was playing with our current club champ and was quite surprised to see him using an electric trolley - his logic was simple, it was easier than pushing or carrying!! I guess that's an indication of why he's off scratch and I'm not.

With an electric cart though would a battery last 2 rounds? my friends barely lasts the round as it is

The lithium batteries have a good range but 36 holes might be a stretch. You could always arrange to borrow/rent a second battery from the pro shop - or a mate.

Two of everything and an electric trolley is a good call. Other than that, be prepared for it to be pretty slow.
