    Hi hope someone can help.
multiroom setup (2 hd boxes + dish with quad). One box works fine while other have problems with recording/pausing live tv. Some recordings are corrupted (blue screen). No error messages from box. I thought it may be hdd so dug it out and connected to my laptop to run test (hd tune 2.55) it found only one bad block (scanning resolution was 190mb at 500gb hdd).
I would of thought that such a small problem would corrupt single video but most of them? maybe it is a software problem or second head/quad? any ideas on how to fix it?

Is there any problem when watching live tv with a weak signal on the bad box or does it just occur when watching recorded content?

just been told by my landlord (it is his sky box) that he is deleting all recordings right away. so maybe it actually ended up being recorded on same region of hdd? any one any suggestions?
