White backdrop- cloth vs. hard/vinyl

    Hi,

I'm going to buy a proper white backdrop & support stands for full body length portraits. Is a 'hard' backdrop much easier to use compared to a cloth one? I'm thinking that a cloth one would show wrinkles easily whereas a hard one would give a fully white background- is this correct?

Can anyone recommend any sites/companies please? Ideally I don't want to break the bank but willing not to skimp on it as well.

    Thanks in advance,
    Pa

I have vinyl backdrops. I bought two and a three roll hanger. They weren't that expensive and will last.

I bought one white and one black. If I were trying to save money it turns out I could have just got one. They were listed as White and Black on the website but when delivered they were both the same. White on one side and black the other.

They can still get damage from being stood on with high heel shoes. I bought a cheap white drop sheet from the hardware store and have that on the floor. If someone has heels I can use that as the base instead.

It's a bracket which you fix to the wall. There are three slots, one each for a backdrop roll.
