    Hi Folks,
Thought I'd share this. Its a table I made from Paduck. For those of you that dont know this wood I've pasted a link to more information,
    http://www.wood-database.com/lumber-identification/hardwoods/african-padauk/

I saw this slab of wood and felt I could make a nice coffee table. I also liked the idea of using copper with it because of the colour of the copper.
The table top is nearly 2" thick.

Nice piece of workmanship, is the timber from a conflict free zone?

Crimson red at present but it will mellow to a brownish colour. Good work. The Carpentry store in Naas carry Padauk but I haven't seen such a large piece.
