I know PCP has been discussed to death here but a kind of separate question. I ordered a new skoda Octavia last month and PCP was 3.9% at the time. I now note that if you order a car between May 23 and June 30 that you can get 0% finance. Do you think there is anything I could do to achieve the 0% rate?

Ask the dealer in question, Skoda will give the 0% to people like yourself who have a car on order.

Where did you find out about that offer? I wonder will VW do the same offer as I'm looking to buy very soon and the 0% PCP would be the deal sealed

So you reckon there is a chance I can still avail of this even though I have already made the order?

Details are on the small print on this link http://www.skoda.ie/company/latest-offers/pages/miraculous-offer.aspx

Unlikely... The finance rate is agreed with the bank essentially when you sign the documents you are agreeing to the terms and conditions... Something similar happened me with my car.. Two months after I bought they reduced the pcp rate... I challenged them on it cause the bank had messed up and issued the loan in my dad's name... Anyway they wouldn't budge...

Thing is I've only ordered the car but I haven't agreed on finance yet.

If you haven't signed the finance doc you should be fine.. There is a clause re there being no cooling off period with car finance as once you get the car it's depreciating already.. Only one way you find out.. Phone the dealer.. If they won't offer the rate see if you can pull out of the deal..

I have paid a deposit on the car. Will I lose this if I was to pull out of the deal?
