Blocked drain outside - what kit?

I've got a blockage somewhere beyond the last shore out the side of the house. Won't be long before the toilets start backing up. Going to pick up some rods at woodies, wondering what the best attachment is - worm, plunger or scraper type thing.
    Cheers!

Worm first then scraper when worm gets through all the s**t. Don't forget to wear gloves and have disinfectant and a bucket of water ready for when you are finished. Better still if you can get barrier cream to put on hands.

You may need more than one set of rods. 30 is about the max you can use.

Don't forget to keep turning the rods clockwise so they don't come off in the drain.

I think someone may have wiped their a*se with one and flushed it down to cause the problem in the first place :)

As said worm first, but if that doesn't work you can use a max of three rods and the rubber plunger fitting that fits the size of the drain. Work it down about a rods length then pull it nearly all the way out then ram in down a rods length again a quick as you can. Creating that sort of movement in the pipe can create a vacuum to pull the blockage back and then force it clear. Obviously you keep that up for a bit to see if it works. Can help if you add a bit of water but don't end up drowning in sewage.

The blockage may be in someone elses garden so worth checking along the street to see if there is another access point to the drain either nearer the blockage or beyond it. If you have your own septic tank then sometimes you can rod up from the tank.

    Excellent advise, thanks again.

Happened to me few times too, same advise as other said worm first etc.
I've tried with success to pour big buckets of water down first as it can help/ sort out the problem too.
