Restoring sports trophy

Apologies if this has been covered recently. I've tried searching but cannot find anything directly relevant

I have an old cricket ball that was mounted on a plastic plinth. It's actually quite famous as it was the ball Freddie Trueman took his world record 243rd test wicket with and was presented to him by the New Zealand cricket association back in the early 1960s

Alas it has seen better days. When I got it there had already been some repairs made to the plastic plinth and the original damage has resurfaced as the original repair was basically a botched job

I would like to get it properly restored this time. Any recommendations for anyone in Ireland who could do this? I appreciate there are probably a few specialists in the UK who may be able to help.
