Cartell report trade sale

    Just got a report for car I'm looking at,there is a 15 month period where it was held under a trade sale and not taxed and then sold onto its current owner,should I be concerned?

    The car is 9 years old,current owners have it 7 years,it was traded in after 10 months by first owner.It is down on the report as being held as a trade sale for 15 months and wasn't taxed either. Why would the garage hold onto it for 15 months?

    That is odd alright. The fact that the last owners kept it 7 years is good though.

    A Volvo v50,looks immaculate, 97 K on clock,service history..going to look at it later.

    Garages can also get caught holding stock. Car probably two expensive second hand being 10months old took them 15 months to sell till the price was right.

    Yeah,was talking to the owner think that was the case,market was flooded with cars due to the crash,decided not to go with it anyway.
