Hi, I'm thinking of going down to Ennis in a few weeks and was wondering if things had changed since this last thread. Is there any where new opened up which serves a great Irish breakfast. If not which is the best of the lot. Also what pub would you recommend for a bit of craic and music? Cheers in advance.

Faffas/Brogans/Diamond/Old Ground for music, loads of new cafes opened around Ennis in the last year or so that you can get a decent breakfast, Sherwood in Tesco, Peppermill on Quin Rd.

Can vouch for the Peppermill on the Quin Rd, has amazing eggs. But I'd have to say the best breakfast (Irish breakfast, Maple Syrup Pancakes etc.) would have to be Café Aroma just beside Bank Place, across from Easons. 9.99 for Full Irish or 5.99 for mini Irish. They serve all day too. Ive become somewhat of a frequent customer.

Cafe Aroma for Breakfast deft. Brogans is now under New ownership and menu is very nice and very tasty . Seasons 52 is also nice if eating out in the evening or night time.
Music - for trad Brogans, Fafas, Kelly's in the Market.
Live bands - Tom Steele, O Keefees, Patrick's, Crusies and the Front bar all great little spots .
