I need these for bread baking and ordering from amazon is mad expensive. Can anyone help me with finding these perhaps somewhere in Dublin?

I got a pair of dough cutters from lakeland online, very happy with them. Just use a silicone spoon then for scraping the bowl. Having two dough cutters is handy for wet breads like ciabattas etc, though you can live without them depending on the breads you make.

Is the pre postage price high? do you know there is free postage to Ireland if you go over £25, sometimes you get it free if just a little under that too.

I will often throw in something like a plain t shirt just to get over the limit.

for some reason I never got free postage from amazon. I ordered about 100 euro worth of stuff and still no free delivery, I must check why but my guess is that some items don't qualify or perhaps the fact that I live in midlands?

it has got to be from amazon themselves, maybe you were buying from 3rd part sellers. I think some of those sellers also do the free post though as it is "fulfiled by amazon"

On the left of the screen it has delivery options if you tick "free uk delivery by amazon" it should filter the stuff that qualifies.

You also have to select the free postage option at checkout.

ok cool thanks will check that out, I am very slack with really understanding Amazon. I did order stuff when I used to live in Dublin and got it free so thought maybe that had something to do...

I never heard of this making a difference, and have read lots of threads in the online forum.

But many do miss the option at checkout, maybe in the past they automatically picked it for you.

Yes, but these items will be free to Ireland if above £25, the limit is lower in the UK (Incl NI).

if you look at an item it might say

FREE Delivery in the UK on orders over £20. Details

click on details and you get this page

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=1204872
    Deliveries to the UK
Orders including £10 or more of eligible books qualify for FREE Delivery. All orders of £20 or more of eligible items across any product category also qualify for FREE Delivery. Items will be delivered 3-5 days after dispatch.

Deliveries to the Republic of Ireland
Orders including £25 or more (including local VAT) of eligible items from any product category qualify for FREE Delivery. Items will be delivered 3-5 days after dispatch.

Another option is a proper catering supply place.

Sweeney-O'Rourke on Pearse street or nisbets.ie off the top of my head.
