Diamond cut alloy wheel repair?

    I have a 2015 A3 on their s-line spec 5-spoke diamond cut alloys.

If any of you have one I'm sure you're well aware that they seem to attract curbs! They are notoriously easy to scuff.

Between myself and the other half we've managed to give the rim of each wheel a nice going over.

I've googled - and a place called 'wefixalloyswheels' in bray say on their site they can refurbish diamond cut alloys.

    Has anyone used them before?

Sick of looking at them. And nearly spat tea all over the missus when I looked up the price of a replacement OEM set. Thought refurbishing might be the route to go.

    In summary..
Diamond cut alloy wheel refurbishment - any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    S

I've heard and read very good things about Rim Solutions. I think they're based in Leixlip.

I had a GTD alloy done by wefixalloywheels in Bray (aka Collins engineering). They have had mixed reviews on here. The result was good. A few little imperfections but from a few feet away perfect. So far after 5 months there is one big stone chip which I filled in with touch up paint as it was on the black portion. No whiteworm or anything so far. Cautious recommendation.

Rim solutions looks impressive based on their online site.

I know this is an old thread but I've used wefixalloyswheels and found them very good. I'm a very fussy driver so that says something. They do alot of work for Joe Duffy and some of their BMW and Porsches were there when I was there. They were very easy to deal with, brought me into the workshop and explained what all was involved in fixing my alloy (much of which went over my head). They even fitted and loaned me a spare 18" wheel/tyre so I wouldn't have to drive around using my spare for the 2 days my wheel was getting fixed.

On another note, how is people cleaning and looking after their diamond cut wheels? Alot of car shops and valeters appear clueless and not fill me with confidence

    Hi guys

I've kerbed two diamond cut alloys on a scirocco. Can anyone who has had this repair done advise on the companies mentioned. Also what kind of money is this repair? I know it varies depending on the damage but ball park.

    Thanks all

Ball park would be 250 for the pair
