This is just a situation I've often imagined.
There's a man(works on his family farm) who appears to become very wealthy all off a sudden(has a nice new house/car) and he gets lots off attention of women who would have never touched him before.(It's rumoured he won the lotto)
He enters a relationship and they get married and they have a child. Less than a year into the relationship she says she's leaving him and wants him out of the family home.
However he then announces his parents own everything(they won the lotto).
What would happen in this situation. The father would want custody of the child.

In an ideal world custody would be split 50/50 and both would provide for the child.

Same as any breakup. Assets of the couple are allocated according to their needs and the decision on the custody of the child and access by the other spouse is decided according to the best interests of the child.

Absent a legal contract to the contrary, the man does not own his parents' assets.
