Exercising Treaty Rights

    Hey everyone.

Not sure if this is the right forum, but bare with me here, I'm wondering if anyone can point me to the right direction.

So recently I got married to a Brazilian girl and I'm Lithuanian myself.

Now she came here as a student about 2 years ago and we got married recently just as her GNIB expired, we've just send out documents for her Stamp 4, but we haven't received anything back yet.

Now the problem is that we're going to Brazil in a few days, to meet the fam and chill, for a month. I think by the time we'll be back, she'll receive the temporary Residency Card.

But for now, will the marriage certificate will be enough to let her come back with me to the country?

I don't think there will be enough time for her to get an entry visa from Irish embassy in Brazil, even though it's not necessary from what I learned over last few weeks of reading the law and regulations.

Any thoughts on what should be done?

    Thanks for your time:)

Deffo she doesn't need an entry visa. Your marriage cert ought to be enough. If you kept a copy of your application form bring that too. You could also try emailing the EU treaty rights section of INIS (address is on the INIS website) and just ask them to confirm that the application was received (explain why you need it). They're slow to issue documents but pretty good at answering emails. If you have their reply to show at Dublin Airport there shouldn't be any problems at all.

    Thanks for clarification.

I did email them but they weren't very helpful.

Anyway, thanks for the reply seems like everything will work out just fine.
