    Hi,

I need a reference and was told I could get one from a Peace Commissioner. Can someone confirm that they actually do this?

If so, what do they usually write seeing as they don't really know me? And do they write it on official letterhead paper?

    Thanks!

(Apologies if this isn't the appropriate forum for this question)

Giving references is not a Peace Commissioner's function

People more reluctant to give references nowadays for fear of litigation

You need to contact someone of standing in the community who knows you personally
