    Hi potteryman, welcome to boards!
New users aren't allowed to attach images I'm afraid, this is due to certain spam posts we were getting a while back.
Do you know how to upload on an image site like imgur.com? You can upload it there and paste in the link like so h ttp:// imgur.com/sCy18Z5 (using spaces to break up the link) I'll be able to post the image up for you :)

Looks like a Ransomes plough from that angle. Any sign of blue paint? Ransomes were the implement partners to Fordson at the time. Sold as "FR" (Ford Ransomes)

Yeah, it's a ransomes. We had a 3 furrow similar to that years ago.

Thanks for your input, all signs of paint are well gone now!

Thanks, any idea of the model/type?

The hint of blue paint says ransomes, might be a 'robin'. Handle broken on it too. Try find out what boards are on it, if they are epic I suggest leaving it there, they don't really turn over the sod fully. I can't see the points in the photos. Have a look here.

    Hi,
What looked like blue paint on photos was actually blue rope wrapped around the disc, so i'm still not sure what make and model this plough is as i can't find anywhere with photos of the same type. I looked at the points and they are stamped with a "star" STP 5 if this makes any sense to anyone?

Perhaps post on "thefarmingforum.co.uk" and see if any one there recognizes it.

You could unbolt one of the legs and see ur any paint survives on there,as a starting point.

You won't because the tail pieces on this were made by someone local. Get a wire brush and look at the back of the boards near the centre, if it's a ransomes they'll be stamped there.

Could be a Pierce of wexford either?
