i have 3 swedish visitors and they are leaving galway tomorrow heading south. they are looking for some nice courses to play in the next week but do not want to pay more than €70. i am going to recommend portumna, a fine parkland, but what other courses can you suggest?

If they want real Value though they should head north west and play Carne, Enniscrone and Donegal (Murvagh) which you should be able to get out for the 50 mark.

Check Golfnow.ie "Hot Deals" or Teetimes.ie

i suggested going north west. far better value and courses are just as good. but they are dead set on heading south. i think they have accomodation booked.

i will pass on the shamrock pass suggestion - looks like great value.
