Starting a new career

I'm looking for advice for my fiance. He doesn't have a boards account so I'm writing on his behalf. He is looking to change careers and would appreciate some guidance!

He has a degree in the creative arts and has spent the last 4 years working in a studio, working his way up to manager. He now is looking for a more stable career that isn't dependant on getting customers in, something in the business field? He is willing to do whatever course to upskill as long as it can help him get a job

His transferrable skills are customer service, sales, management, admin, computer skills etc. He's an incredibly hard worker too! Any guidance would be great thank you

Edited to add we are a bit unsure of what industry to even look at given that he's always been in the arts. If anyone had any starting points for jobs or courses that would be great thanks!

Is there any specific industries or roles he likes the look of? Or any he has ruled out? Would he be interested in full-time or part-time course and what budget would he have to work with? How long is he willing to commit to studying for?

He could look at doing a general management masters like
this one and still work at the same time. There are also conversion to IT courses like this one if that was an area he'd like to get into.
He could start studying for ACCA accountancy exams if he wanted an try to get a finance related job. Or law and look at doing the solicitors or barristers exams.

There are so many possibilities. He might start by making a list of all of the types of job he can think of and ruling out the areas he has no interest in.

I think it would be a worthwhile investment to visit a career coach.

Thanks for the reply and the courses that's exactly what we were looking for! The only industries he's ruled out are tele sales as he used to do that when he was younger, and IT ( He dropped out of a computer science degree) . Ideally he would like to do a part time qualification while working full time, budget up to about 10 grand.

...a more stable career that isn't dependant on getting customers in, something in the business field? ....

The only field I can think of that isn't dependent on getting customer in is government.

Sorry I should have been more clear, he's a photographer and therefore only gets paid if he gets a job to do a wedding or something. He wants something that pays a wage rather than only getting paid when someone buys something

So the most obvious suggestion is to get a job with someone who employs photographers.

Thank you ,but he has done this in the past and it's still an unsteady industry . He would like to move into a different career, using his existing strengths while also upskilling.
