I was approached via Linkedin to run a week long training course in Greece.
I told them my price and they accepted.

Im just curious about what is normal practice for taking payment for running a training course as ive never done this before. 100% payment before the course, 50/50 or payment after completion?

When developing software i either do the 50/50 route or 100% on completion.

There is no standard really, it's all down to what you negotiate.

As you're travelling to Greece I'd be looking to front-load the payment rather than invoice on completion. Don't forget to negotiate expenses too.
