    Hi everyone,
A friend of mine from Austria is trying to plan a weeks cycling holiday in Ireland later this year, with some friends - they plan to cycle approx 150kms a day and are looking for suggestions for routes that they could cover over the week. They are flying into Dublin and would consider hiring a car and driving to a starting point - i am thinking Kerry - but if anyone has any suggestions/routes that could be covered or any links to sites that might assist, it would be greatly appreciated.
    THanks
    Rob

Start at Cork and take simply take the WAW. The West Cork section is particularly good for cycling and following the WAW signs makes for easy navigation. There will also be no shortage of things to see, do, stay, eat, etc along the way.

Take 2 days to get to Galway, stopping in Athlone.
Go down to the Royal Canal at th eKillucan road form Kinnegad, on to Mullingar then the greenway to Athlone.
go to Galway via Clonmacnoise & Banagher

Then head out along the coast to Clifden, taking in some of the islands towards Leitir Mór, and on by Roundstone/Ballyconeely to Clifden on the WAW
