Sudden low water pressure after using lots of water

Hi Hoping someone has some suggestions.

I was cleaning drains with sewer rods and let a tap flow for about 1.5 hours to check that the water was flowing through, kids had baths at same time, so lots of water was used in a 1 - 2 hour period.

Next day we had a guy power washing our driveway, at one point the water pressure from our outside tap dropped to a trickle, and has remained the same for the last 2 days. Water flow in all bathroom taps and utility room is also affected.

Drinking water and warm water seems fine.
I went into attic and there are two water tanks, both are full to top, so there is water available.

Any idea what has caused the pressure to dropping these taps. Will call a plumber tomorrow if I can't get it fixed as it also affects the washing machine etc..

    1. Airlock?
    2. Material floating in cold storage tank (such as aeroboard, plastic etc) stuck in pipes after drop in water level.
3 I have come across a dead mouse in pipe at gate valve.

Actually looks like it has fixed itself after two days.

We didn't run any water in the affected taps for about 12 hours. I turned on the pump (for extra pressure) and the taps spluttered a bit but seem to be ok now.

we did try this Previously but no joy, I guess the trickle filled up the pipes enough to draw the water and possibly air through when I turned on the pump

Thanks for the reply Joe, I was in the thread so I didn't see your message.

I think it was slightly air locked, if that's possible
