I had 3 scrambled eggs on a slice of toasted sourdough.

I got eggs in Avoca on Suffolk St in the city center, I can't remember the name of them, they were in a green box.

I have not seen eggs like this before, the yolks were so yellow they were nearly bright orange, the taste of them was sublime ;-) I'm going in at the weekend to get a box to make a small quiche!

Did the eggs the way Ramsey does them.

It was so good, better than a lot of meals I had out, not as complex obviously but so delicious.

Any other cheap eats worth trying?

Proper free range eggs have that good bright orange yoke. There is a taste differnce as well see if you can get to your local country market and find a small farmer who sells there own free range eggs. They might taste better and you'll be supporting a small business.

I've actually tried a lot of free range and organic eggs over the years, these were actually a different level. Maybe I'm romancing a bit but they were that good ;)

No, but there were the only eggs in Avoca in town. Green egg carton I can remember.

They are in the bin, I might have a look when I get home!

    Great user name ;-)

I think avoca sells duck eggs in a green carton.

    Could it be duck eggs?

    No definitely hens eggs.

I remember a picture of chickens on the box!

The name is driving me mad now ;-)

Bush Farm is the name. In Wicklow. €2.50 for six.

I had to rummage through the bin to find the egg carton!
