    Hi,

Just finishing renovating a house I purchased and next job is to build a storm water soak away. Current one is very poorly build so creating a new one.

House is 95m sq'ed. Anyone know how big I need to build?

Ive been looking at both getting aqua crates or just building from rubble. I rang around about he crates and they all say they have never sold them for use on a house only large scale.

So much info online and very confusing as a lot of it isn't relating to Ireland etc or regs.

Anyone recently built one? Or have any suggestions.

    Thanks

BRE DIGEST 365 or Suds Guidance C697. Size depends on roofed and hardcore area or driveway around house.

    ...and drainage/percolation.

Usually a soil infiltration test is required to calculate the size of the soak away, in conjunction (as you say) with the area to be drained.
