Looking for a very short stem for Giant Defy I got my son. Clamp size is 31.8mm. Anyone got something of interest please? I'm Kildare based. Thanks

I have a 60mm Deda stem if that's any good to you. Its got some light corrosion on the bolts and some paint worn off where it was mounted on the head tube

€10 if its what you're looking for.

    Thanks HE

I'm hoping there might be a 25-30 mm one out there.

As stems are measured from the centre of the bars to the centre of the top cap I think that the shortest one that you will find is 35mm and I'm guessing that they're few and far between!

Thanks for info. Appreciate they might be hard to come by, but as kids grow out of them so quickly there might be one lurking in someone's bike shed somewhere.

Also very short stems can make a bike much more "twitchy"!
