You don't give a price range, but I'm guessing you may want something more up to date than what you have.

So, let's start with Halford's €625 Boardman Hybrid Comp Bike: link

I have a Giant rapid. Fantastic hybrid bike and quite nippy too. Highly recommend it.

+1 I've had one of these since late last year and love it. It's grand for my 10k commute but I've been doing 50-70k spins on it lately and it's great for that too. I traded up from a Dawes 301 which I occasionally still use but which feels like a luxurious but heavy Dutch upright in comparison.

Been using a Scott Metrix for the last 3 years. Great bike and have had zero problems with it. :)

Yup, have done some 100km runs on it too without any issue. Great bike!

the bike i have has a few issues and wondering worth to get fixed or upgrade.

    - creaking handlebars
    - gears slipping when on lowest gear
    - there a wobble when free wheeling.
