Has anyone any recommendations for renting a wi fi dongle in Portugal?

We rented one a couple of years ago from the holiday rep for about €50 for 2 weeks. It was great. Our 4 phones could work off it. We're going on our own this time and I cant remember the company that we rented off.
    I was looking at Portugalinternet.com €64 for 2 weeks.

    Any advice would be great.

If one of you has a smartphone you can use it as a hotspot and tether the rest to it. That's what we're doing in Spain using an Orange sim. 15 euro for 2gb for 30 days and you can add more when that runs out. Works fine for us. Not sure what's available in Portugal. Bound to be similar.

Im interested in this concept as i have rented a villa in Spain for a week, where i was told there would be wifi - however they now advise that there is wifi but at a charge.
Anyway im trying to figure out an alternative means of allowing 4 of us (including 2 teenagers) to connect to the internet without it costing a fortune - can i buy a Spainish sim card and just install it in my phone for the week and allow it to work as a hotspot for everyone ? if so where would i get such a sim card and are there any other complications invovled ?
    THanks

I went to a couple of mobile phone shops in Spain before deciding on Orange. Some of them were less than helpful but ymmv. You can check the various deals online before you go. The procedure is simple enough: bring your passport, buy the pre pay sim card (use cash to ensure no contract is involved) and insert into phone and turn on hotspot. You may have to adjust the apk, but Orange staff did that for me in seconds. My phone is Android, so can't speak for the likes of iPhone. Also, bear in mind that 2gb might not go too far with teenagers sharing it. Maybe get them 1gb sim @ approx 10e each and make them ration themselves?

Thanks Nuala - i suspect 1gb could be gone in a matter of hours :)
