    instead of km.

Does this mean that the car is an import from the UK?

German brand car, 5 years old if that makes a difference.

    Thanks.

Should I be wary about buying it?

Any pitfalls to look out for?

    Would cartell pick up pitfalls?

Clocking is the obvious one, check service history but they can be faked too. You can try and get the service history from BMW UK with the reg or VIN. Check for flood damage too.

Your spending over €10k on a car, please for the sake of common sense spend the €20 on a history check rather than buy a complete lemon.

No way would I buy without doing a check.

Is cartell.ie the best company for this?

The car is deffo an import but the seller doesn't have the UK reg plate number. Does this sound legit?

The previous uk reg number should be under section J.4 in the logbook

Yes Cartell or Motorcheck.ie. As VM said the UK reg will be in the logbook. If you get the UK reg you can do a free initial check on the MOT history by going here
    https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history

If the car was in NIRL that check MOT history site won't have any details.
