Strange Lump

Hi all Looking for a bit of advise, one of my horses has a hard lump on the centre of the upper lip and dose not like me touching it. The lump is small. Anyone come across this before ? Thanks

Could be a bite, could be an abcess, could be a cut that got infected, could be a lot of things to be honest. I think the vet is the only one who is gonna be able to give you a definite answer.

Could be anything really. So hard to tell with horses even when you are standing in front of them, let alone an internet forum! I know my guy is riddled with fly bites at the moment, he's very sensitive to them.
