Looking for a bit of advise, one of my horses has a hard lump on the centre of the upper lip and dose not like me touching it. The lump is small. Anyone come across this before ?

    Thanks

Could be a bite, could be an abcess, could be a cut that got infected, could be a lot of things to be honest. I think the vet is the only one who is gonna be able to give you a definite answer.

I'm currently not in Ireland so dunno what stage things are at there but are there Buttercups in the horses field?

Could be anything really. So hard to tell with horses even when you are standing in front of them, let alone an internet forum! I know my guy is riddled with fly bites at the moment, he's very sensitive to them.
