    Hi all
Just wondering is it safe to spread 18:6:12 on grazing ground with cattle still on it?

I seen on teagasc FB page that the only danger is hitting an animal with the tractor when you are spreading it:)

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Another danger is a beast eating it if it goes out in big lumps. We'd a bullock years ago we'd to get the Vet for after he ate some lumps of fert.
Shed for a few days on hay sorted him out.

The only one you need to look out for really is urea and only if you have a full load and spill some

My dad goes mad when I let cows in on a paddock the day or so after spreading any sort of fertiliser ha, nothing has died yet despite his constant reminders.
