Can 700 x 23c tyre tubes be used in a 700 x 25c tyre?

    Hi all.

Just got a new bike and I have 2 new tyres on order (not yet arrived). The tyres on my new bike are 700 x 23c and the new tyres I've ordered are 700 x 25c. Will the tubes already in the existing 700 x 23c tyres work in the new 700 x 25c tyres or will I have to buy new tubes?

    Thanks

Tubes are generally sold to fit a range of tyre sizes, with 18-23 or 18-25 being one of the more common ranges for road bikes. You may well have the latter in your tyres already, in which case they'll be fine in the 25c tyres, but even if not, a lot of so-called 23c tubes will stretch to 25c with no major issue.

Yes - I've put 18-23 tubes in 28's (when stuck) with no issues. The tube will be stretched slightly more and may be slightly weaker.
