    Hey just need some advice.

So I have had some extensive gardening work done mainly construction of a retaining wall and fencing etc.

So anyways my lawn was completely dug up and better drainage installed.

So my soil been shaped raked, rolled, raked and weedkiller put down as of the weekend.
Next weekend I plan to put down some fertilizer.

So this is my front lawn, it is roughly 300squre meters.
I want to know given the time of year should I seed my own grass or should I have a lawn but down.

Understandably there is a cost to buying a lawn but I just want to know apart from cost what are the pros and cons of seeding vrs laying.

    Thanks.
